Ferry timetable
The ferry will run Monday to Friday, from Tuesday 11 April to Wednesday 3 May, including Anzac Day.
The journey between Geelong and Docklands takes approximately 95 minutes.
There will be one service in each direction, each day.
From Geelong to Docklands
- Departs 7am, Steampacket Pier, Geelong
- Arrives 8.35am, Port Phillip Ferries Docklands terminal
From Docklands to Geelong
- Departs 5:30pm, Port Phillip Ferries Docklands terminal
- Arrives 7.05pm, Steampacket Pier, Geelong
Travel information
- Bookings are essential
- Boarding opens 20 minutes before departure and closes 3 minutes before departure
- Allow 95 minutes for the journey
- Have your myki and a valid ferry ticket ready to show staff
Accessibility
The ferry is accessible to passengers using wheelchairs and mobility aids, and priority seating is also available. Customer support staff will be onsite at the Geelong and Docklands terminals to assist passengers as required.
Bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters
Bicycle, e-bike and e-scooter parking on board the ferry needs to be reserved when booking your ticket online. The ferry has 20 parks available.
Geelong ferry terminal information
Limited paid car parking is available at the ferry terminal. Free parking is available at Geelong Station approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the pier.
Bike parking is available around the pier, so you can cycle to catch the ferry. Visit geelongaustralia.com.au to see a map of bicycle rack locations.
Docklands ferry information
There is no parking at the terminal.
Get to Southern Cross Station by taking a 35, 70,75 or 11 tram to Spencer Street or walk via Collins Street.
