We're committed to supporting businesses and workers impacted by acquisition by North East Link

If your businesses or work place is being acquired by the North East Link Program (NELP) you can access a range of support
services, free of charge, with some of Victoria’s most well-known and trusted small business support providers.

Access to these services is funded by NELP to help support businesses and workers throughout the acquisition and relocation process. We have a dedicated team to help provide support for your business and staff.

To match support with what businesses and workers need at different stages of the project, we’ll be refining and building what’s on offer as we go. If you’d like to talk to us about what you might need and when, please get in touch.

You can contact us at businessengagement@northeastlink.vic.gov.au

Business Relocation Consultants (Charter Keck Cramer)

NELP has appointed Charter Keck Cramer (CKC) to provide businesses affected by acquisition with support to plan for relocation. CKC can work with you to prepare a tailored relocation plan. This involves:

  • speaking with you and visiting your business to understand your operational requirements and relocation needs
  • preparing a list of possible properties for you to consider
  • mapping out key steps and a timeline you can use for your move.

CKC offer a weekly live real estate market update that is sent directly to your email. This includes a list of properties available for purchase or lease as well as businesses for sale in suburbs of interest. To receive the updates please subscribe online.

Key things to know:

  • This is a free, no obligation service.
  • It is separate to, and independent from, the acquisition process.
  • Information gathered by CKC will be used to help prepare your relocation plan. It will not be used to inform compensation.
  • CKC’s role does not include providing advice about acquisition or compensation.
