Have your say on the potential future Bulla Bypass

Back to Newsfeed

We’re undertaking planning work on behalf of the Victorian Government to inform the development of the Bulla Bypass.

This includes exploring options to build a new road link between Bulla-Diggers Rest Road and Somerton Road in Bulla. The bypass would provide a new connection between Sunbury and the northern suburbs Melbourne, including Melbourne Airport.

We’re building on work previously undertaken by the Department of Transport and are seeking community feedback to better inform the Bypass. We want to know how you currently travel around the area, what your views are on the environment and landscape and what’s important to you.

This will help us further refine design options, understand any other road network and active transport improvements that should be considered in the wider area around Bulla and help us ensure the Bypass provides the best outcomes for the community and environment.

Please visit engage.vic.gov.au/bulla-bypass to have your say. You will be able to provide your feedback by completing surveys or dropping a pin on our interactive map.

Feedback will be open until Sunday 5 December 2021 and will help to shape the development of the Bypass.

For more information or to request a hard copy of the survey, please contact us on 1800 105 105 or email contact@roadprojects.vic.gov.au

Timelines and milestones will be determined through this planning work and a Business Case is anticipated to be finalised in mid-2022.
