Planning is underway for potential improvements along York Road between Swansea and Monbulk roads in Mount Evelyn, to seek solutions to improve safety and create more reliable journeys for road users.
To help inform our planning and shape the development of design options we’d like to hear:
- how you currently use York Road, between Swansea and Monbulk roads
- your thoughts on access, efficiency and safety
- potential improvements to the road that we should consider
- what's important in the local area.
We’re also seeking feedback from local businesses. We want to understand how customers access the business, how businesses currently use York Road and impacts on operations.
You can have your say online between Wednesday 6 April and Wednesday 27 April 2022 by completing a survey, dropping a pin on our interactive map, or asking us a question.

A Business Case is currently being developed and is anticipated to be finalised at the end of the year. Timelines and milestones for the upgrade will be determined through this planning work.
