Riverboat tours of Echuca-Moama Bridge Project a hit with locals

Back to Newsfeed

Our Echuca-Moama Bridge Project team has recently given some lucky locals a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the construction of northern Victoria’s largest transport infrastructure project from a truly unique vantage point.

Between last October and January, our project team conducted construction site tours with a difference, welcoming more than 250 people aboard locally operated vessel, the MV Maryanne, to view the project works from the waters of the famous Murray River.

Guided construction site tours give the community a chance to learn more about how we deliver major projects, while doing this aboard one of the riverboats Echuca-Moama is famous for was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Locals and visitors of all ages boarded the MV Mary Ann to get a fascinating new perspective on a project that will transform travel in the region by building a second river crossing to connect Echuca and Moama.

Check out the glowing feedback from some of our guests in this video below.
