Metro Tunnel Creative Program wins design award

Metro Tunnel Creative Program received a prestigious Good Design Award Best in Class Accolade in the "Architectural Design Urban Design and Public Spaces" category in recognition for outstanding design and innovation.

The Good Design Awards Jury praised Metro Tunnel Creative Program, commenting that “this project successfully coordinates a highly creative, original and engaging program of public art activities."

"It uses design in a clever and functional way to safely divert the general public from major infrastructure under construction. In doing so, it brings a high level of creativity to people from all walks of life.”

Dr. Brandon Gien, CEO of Good Design Australia said “Receiving a Good Design Award is a significant achievement given the very high calibre and record number of entries received in 2020.”

The 2020 Good Design Awards attracted a record number of submissions with an astonishing 835 design projects evaluated in this year’s international design awards.
