As part of Victoria’s Big Build, we’re undertaking major works to build the Metro Tunnel and upgrading the Sunbury Line.
From Friday 6 November to Sunday 22 November, 24-hour works will take place during an upcoming scheduled shutdown of the Sunbury Line.
To ensure these works can take place safely, buses will replace trains on the full length of the Sunbury Line between 8.30pm Friday 6 November to last service Monday 16 November.
Buses will also replace trains between Sunshine and Sunbury from first service Tuesday 17 November to 3.30am Sunday 22 November.
Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo line services will also be affected with buses or coaches replacing trains for all or part of trips during this time.
