Hall Road & Western Port Highway Upgrade

Upgrading Hall Road between McCormicks Road and Cranbourne-Frankston Road, as well as upgrading two Western Port Highway roundabouts to improve safety and journey reliability.

Overview

The Victorian Government is investing $223.3 million to upgrade 5.2 km of Hall Road between McCormicks Road and Cranbourne-Frankston Road, as well as upgrading two Western Port Highway roundabouts.

The project will:

  • increase traffic lanes on Hall Road to two lanes in each direction between McCormicks Road and Cranbourne-Frankston Road
  • upgrade intersections at McCormicks Road, Taylors Rd, Western Port Highway, Evans Road and Cranbourne-Frankston Road to improve access and reduce the risk of crashes
  • build a new shared walking and cycling path along Hall Road
  • upgrade two Westernport Highway roundabouts at the intersections of Ballarto Road and Cranbourne Frankston Road with traffic lights to improve safety and manage traffic flow on and off the highway.
