As part of the O’Shea Road upgrade, we're constructing a shared user path (SUPs) to connect Berwick and Beaconsfield communities.
So far 3.5km of SUP along O’Shea Road has been completed and has been constructed using 100% eMesh, made entirely from recycled plastics.
Traditional SUP’s use metal for strengthen and reinforcement, however, replacing the need for steel with upcycling plastics has seen reductions in fossil fuel usage and carbon emissions by 90%.
Looking to the future, eMesh is quickly becoming a great alternative to traditional steel mesh in the construction industry.
The brand-new path will open to the public in the coming months.
