Procurement at SRLA

The Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) follows the procurement guidelines set by the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) in accordance with the Financial Management Act 1994. These guidelines ensure transparency, fairness, and value for money in the procurement of goods and services.

Forward Procurement Activity Plan

As an expansion agency operating under the jurisdiction of the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB), SRLA is obliged to publish a summary of its planned procurement activities for the next 12-24 months. This summary provides potential suppliers with an overview of the types of goods and services procurement activities (excluding construction procurement) that SRLA intends to undertake during that period.

It is important to note all planned procurement opportunities - including their scope, terms, and release dates - are subject to potential changes or cancellations. The information provided in the forward procurement activity plan is purely informative and does not constitute a solicitation, invitation to supply, or a commitment to make a purchase.

Becoming a Supplier

To become a supplier to SRLA, it is important to familiarise yourself with relevant policies, including the Supplier Code of Conduct, supplier eligibility criteria, and the evaluation process. Understanding these policies will help align your offerings with the government's requirements.

Complaints Management

SRLA places great importance on conducting procurement processes in a fair and transparent manner. If a person or organisation has any issues or concerns, it is recommended to first raise the matter with the SRLA Procurement Officer managing the process in question. If the matter cannot be resolved, a written complaint can be submitted to SRLA’s Chief Procurement Officer within one month of the supplier becoming aware of the grounds for the complaint. Please address complaints to corporate.procurement@srla.vic.gov.au.
