As a Site Engineer with the Northern Surface Works team on the North East Link Project, Agathe played a key role in delivering the Silk Street Bridge works in 2025, one of her proudest achievements to date.
Working in a traditionally male-dominated industry hasn’t always been easy, but Agathe says the experience has strengthened her confidence and determination. She hopes to see more women pursue careers in construction and infrastructure, particularly in leadership and management roles, so future generations have more examples to look up to.
Agathe credits the support of her team for helping her succeed on site, describing an environment where colleagues were willing to share advice, offer guidance and work together to achieve strong outcomes.
