VIDA Ethical Behaviours Statement
We are individually and collectively committed to championing a culture of integrity and ethical leadership at the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA).
These ethical behaviours are expectations of VIDA employees.
Code of conduct
We comply with the Victorian Public Sector Code of Conduct, applicable laws and with VIDA policies and procedures.
Integrity
We report integrity breaches or improper conduct.
Public interest first
We always put the public interest before our private interest when carrying out our official role.
Conflict of interest
We avoid conflicts of interest.
If conflicts of interest cannot be avoided, we declare and ensure they are appropriately managed.
Gifts, benefits and hospitality
We do not seek or solicit gifts, benefits or hospitality and only accept these in very limited circumstances.
Financially responsible
We use our financial delegation responsibly.
Privacy
We maintain privacy and confidentiality of information that comes to us in our public role unless authorised to disclose.
Respect
We treat our colleagues, external providers and the public with respect.
