Works in Sunbury Crescent, Surrey Hills

We’ve removed the dangerous and congested level crossings at Union Road, Surrey Hills and Mont Albert Road, Mont Albert, and opened the brand-new Union Station.

What we're doing

We’ll carry out rectification works on the Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) car park on Sunbury Crescent from 7am to 6pm Thursday 19 June to Friday 20 June 2025.

These works will involve:

• Removal of the top sand layer of the car park
• Installation of a drain adjacent to the retaining wall
• Replacement of surface material with crushed rock

What to expect

During this time, you should expect:

• Low to moderate levels of noise, dust and vibration
• Construction vehicles and trucks on local roads

Every effort will be made to complete works within these time frames and keep noise to a minimum. The date is subject to change depending on the weather.
