'The Bayswater Level Crossing Removal Project is being delivered under an Alliance framework by Laing O'Rourke, Fulton Hogan, AECOM, the Level Crossing Removal Authority, VicRoads, Metro Trains Melbourne, and Public Transport Victoria (PTV). As principal contractor for the Bayswater Level Crossing Removal Project, the Alliance will adopt and operate under Laing O'Rourke's Group Supply Chain Policy'.

We expect our Supply Chain to join us in meeting the following standards and practice:
- Driving the primary importance of health and safety by communicating and emphasising our Health and Safety Policy and Culture
- Adhering to International Labour Organisation Core Conventions, prohibiting child, forced, bonded or compulsory labour, and respecting the right to freedom of association, diversity and equal opportunities
- Complying with applicable rules and legislation on wages and working hours including those regulating minimum wage, overtime and maximum hours
- Managing current and predicted workload to ensure that suitable competent resources are available as and when required
- Adding value and reducing cost through innovation, product development, process improvement and value engineering
- Reducing transaction costs and creating informed and unified delivery teams by utilising integrated systems including digital engineering for improved information exchange
- Supporting and collaborating, with a focus on Engineering Excellence, the development of Design for (Off Site) Manufacture & Assembly
- Identifying opportunities for local procurement of goods and services and the provision of apprenticeships and other employment opportunities to strengthen the local economy
- Strengthening our relationships and encouraging repeat business through collaboration and a non-adversarial approach to dispute resolution
- Providing training programmes and support to enable employees to reach their full potential
- Achieving the required levels of corporate responsibility and alignment with our Code of Conduct, Environment, Sustainability and Quality Policies
- Supporting local community projects to share expertise and foster sustainable development
- Complying with all current legislation & guidelines in respect of Anti Bribery & Corruption.
