On 5 March 2026, the Minister for Planning decreased the Project Area under section 96 of the Major Transport Facilitation Act 2009 (MTPF Act).

The decreased Project Area is as shown in the plans with reference LEGL/25-146, Sheet 1.

The designation of the Project Area enables the project proponent (the Secretary to the Department of Transport) to use the project delivery powers under the MTPF Act.
