9 August 2024
We've removed the level crossings at Bedford Road, Ringwood and Dublin Road, Ringwood East, and opened the new Ringwood East Station, making Ringwood level crossing free in 2024, a year ahead of schedule.
While our major construction blitz to remove the Bedford Road level crossing is complete, we are continuing works in August to finalise the new Bayswater substation.
Works will include:
- replacing light poles, existing kerbs, footpath and driveway around the new substation site
- Bayswater Station car park finishing works and resurfacing
- Bayswater substation carpark finishing works and landscaping.
- works will occur during the day from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and 7am to 2pm, Saturdays within and around the Bayswater substation site.
