We've removed the level crossings at Bedford Road, Ringwood and Dublin Road, Ringwood East, and opened the new Ringwood East Station, making Ringwood level crossing free in 2024, a year ahead of schedule.

While our major construction blitz to remove the Bedford Road level crossing is complete, we are continuing works in September to finalise the new Bayswater substation.

Works will include:

• substation finishing works including replacing light poles around the new site
• Bayswater Station car park finishing works and resurfacing.

Works will occur during the day from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and 7am to 2pm, Saturdays within and around the Bayswater substation site.

• Approximately 30 carparks will be temporarily closed throughout September for Bayswater substation works.

What to expect

• Presence of workers, trucks and construction equipment with some noise from construction machinery.
• Please be aware that works can sometimes take longer than expected or need to be rescheduled due to weather and other factors outside of our control.
