We’ve removed the level crossing at Bedford Road, Ringwood, while construction continues to remove the level crossing at Dublin Road, Ringwood East which will make Ringwood level crossing free in 2024, a year ahead of schedule.

What we're doing

From Tuesday 18 June until Monday 24 June, buses will replace trains whilst works are undertaken around the new Bedford Road rail trench.

Works will involve:

• fencing and landscaping
• service rectification works.

What to expect

• Increased truck movements and noise from trucks and other vehicles in the area.
• An increase in construction noise, activity and some dust, with vehicles, machinery and workers on site.
• Targeted safety lighting for work areas with measures in place to prevent significant light spill during night works.
• Access to site offices, sheds and laydown areas in line with the work hours stated below.
• Works sometimes need to be rescheduled due to weather or other factors outside of our control.

When we'll work

We'll work from:

• from 7am Tuesday 18 June until 6pm Friday 21 June, day and night
• from 7am Saturday 22 June until 6pm Monday 24 June, during daytime hours only.
