25 June 2024

We’ve removed the level crossing at Bedford Road, Ringwood, while construction continues to remove the level crossing at Dublin Road, Ringwood East which will make Ringwood level crossing free in 2024, a year ahead of schedule.

While our major construction blitz is complete, we will undertake ongoing finishing works around Bedford Road and the rail corridor, such as cleaning up our sites and soft landscaping.

In July 2024, we’ll continue to work during the day from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday in and around the rail corridor.

Works will also be undertaken 7am to 6pm on Sunday 21 July 2024.

Works will include:

  • completing road works on Bedford Road
  • finishing footpath reinstatement on a section of Pitt Street and Bedford Road
  • soft landscaping works around the rail corridor
  • ground investigations including soil sampling
  • removal of crib facilities on Bedford Road.
