We’ve removed the level crossing at Bedford Road, Ringwood, while construction continues to remove the level crossing at Dublin Road, Ringwood East which will make Ringwood level crossing free in 2024, a year ahead of schedule.

What we're doing

From 7am Wednesday 19 June until 6pm Friday 21 June 2024, we will require day and night use of the rail access pad at 101 Brunswick Rd, Mitcham, to gain access to the rail corridor.

What to expect

During this time, work crews will access the site intermittently to load and unload rail materials. Residents may expect:

• increased truck movements and noise from trucks and other vehicles in the area
• an increase in construction noise, activity and some dust, with vehicles, machinery and workers on site
• please be aware works can sometimes take longer than expected or need to be rescheduled due to weather and other factors outside of our control.
