We've removed the level crossings at Bedford Road, Ringwood and Dublin Road, Ringwood East, and opened the new Ringwood East Station, making Ringwood level crossing free in 2024, a year ahead of schedule.

What we’re doing

Use of the rail access pad at Bungalook Road East, Bayswater North will be required to gain access to the rail corridor on the following dates:

• 7am to 7pm, Saturday 10 August and Sunday 11 August 2024 (day use only)
• From 7am Saturday 17 August to 6pm Monday 19 August 2024 (day and night use).

This includes Metro Trains Melbourne accessing the rail corridor via the Bungalook Road East rail access pad from Friday 9 August to Sunday 11 August 2024 to complete track renewal works.

What to expect

During this time, work crews will access the site intermittently to load and unload rail materials. Residents can expect:

• increased truck movements and noise from trucks and other vehicles in the area
• an increase in construction noise, activity and some dust, with vehicles, machinery and workers on site

Please be aware works can sometimes take longer than expected or need to be rescheduled due to weather and other factors outside of our control.
