We’ve removed the level crossing at Bedford Road, Ringwood, while construction continues to remove the level crossing at Dublin Road, Ringwood East which will make Ringwood level crossing free in 2024, a year ahead of schedule.

What we're doing

From Tuesday 18 June to Friday 21 June 2024, we will require use of the rail access pad at Bungalook Road East to gain access to the rail corridor.

When

• From 7am on Tuesday 18 June to 7am Wednesday 29 June day and night.
• From 7am Thursday 20 June to 7am Friday 21 June day and night.
• From 7am to 6pm Wednesday 19 June and Friday 21 June, works will take place during daytime hours only.

What to expect

During this time, work crews will access the site intermittently to load and unload rail materials.

Residents may expect:

• increased truck movements and noise from trucks and other vehicles in the area
• an increase in construction noise, activity and some dust, with vehicles, machinery and workers on site
• please be aware works can sometimes take longer than expected or need to be rescheduled due to weather and other factors outside of our control.
