29 June 2026

We're removing the dangerous and congested level crossings at Armstrongs Road and Station Street, Seaford by building 2 separate rail bridges over the roads to make Seaford boom gate free. We’ll also build a new modern and accessible Seaford Station.

We’re continuing site investigations in July to better understand local conditions and inform the design of the rail bridges and the new elevated Seaford Station.

What we’re doing

We’ll be locating underground services and testing ground conditions from Monday 13 July to Friday 17 July.

Works will take place on Railway Parade, Station Street and Armstrongs Road near the level crossing, at Seaford Station and along the rail corridor and the Kananook Creek Trail.

What to expect

  • Intermittent walking and cycling path disruptions.
  • Traffic management and detours in place. Signage will be in place to guide you around the area. Please see map below.
  • Increased noise, vibration, vehicles and workers in the area.

We’ll make every effort to complete works on schedule; however dates are subject to change.
