21 August 2026
We're removing the dangerous and congested level crossings at Armstrongs Road and Station Street, Seaford by building two separate rail bridges over the roads to make Seaford boom gate free. We’ll also build a new modern and accessible Seaford Station.
We’re continuing site investigations in August and September to better understand local conditions and inform the design of the rail bridges and the new elevated Seaford Station.
What we’re doing
We’ll be locating underground services and conducting survey works from Monday 24 August to Friday 4 September.
Works will take place on Railway Parade between Station Street and Seaford Road, at Seaford Station and Kananook Substation, and along the rail corridor.
What to expect
- Intermittent lane closures and walking and cycling path disruptions.
- Increased noise, vehicles and workers in the area.
- Traffic management in place to guide you around the area.
We’ll make every effort to complete works on schedule; however dates are subject to change.
