We're removing the dangerous and congested level crossings at Armstrongs Road and Station Street, Seaford by building 2 separate rail bridges over the roads to make Seaford boom gate free. We’ll also build a new modern and accessible Seaford Station.
What we’re doing
We’re investigating ground conditions and flora and fauna, locating underground services and inspecting rail equipment along the rail corridor on Saturday 8 November and Sunday 9 November, and from 7am to 6pm, weekdays from Monday 10 November to mid February.
What to expect
- Construction workers with digging equipment in the rail corridor
- Intermittent traffic management for pedestrians and bike riders
- Increased construction vehicles in the area
- Temporary site facilities in the southwest corner of the Seaford Station car park off Station Street.
Access to homes and businesses will be maintained at all times.
We’ll make every effort to complete works on schedule, however dates are subject to change.
