We’re removing the level crossings at McDonald Street in Mordialloc and Station Street in Aspendale by building new rail bridges. We’re also removing and closing the Bear Street level crossing in Mordialloc and building a new Mordialloc Station.

Throughout May, third party utility providers will work on Station Street, Aspendale to decommission out-of-use gas pipes ahead of project works. During this time, there will be temporary road and lanes closures on Station Street.

Changes to the way you travel in Aspendale

Station Street

• Closed between Attenborough Road and Ruvina Street from 9am to 5pm, Tuesday 13 May and Wednesday 14 May. Resident access to properties maintained.
• Lane closures between Attenborough Road and Ruvina Street from:
  • 9am to 5pm, Friday 16 May.
  • 9am to 5pm, Monday 19 May to Wednesday 21 May.
  • Two way traffic and resident access to properties maintained.
• Closed between Attenborough Road and Ruvina Street from:
  • 9am to 5pm, Thursday 22 and Friday 23 May.
  • 9am to 5pm, Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 May.
  • Resident access to properties maintained.

James Avenue

• No access from Station Street into James Avenue from 9am to 5pm, Thursday 15 May. Resident access to properties maintained.
