We’ve removed the level crossings at Coburns, Exford and Ferris roads in Melton and at Hopkins Road in Truganina and the new accessible Melton Station is open to passengers.

Thank you for your patience while we’re putting the finishing touches on the Melton Station precinct until early 2027. Works are continuing on the northern forecourt, air-conditioned waiting room, toilet facilities, bus interchange landscaping and car parks.

What we're doing

We’ll be working along Creek Street to build a new footpath and maintenance driveway and undertake landscaping works until late 2026 with a section of the eastbound lane closed.

Traffic management will be in place to maintain 2-way traffic flow.

Sections of the east bound lane closed at times from until late 2026 from:

• 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
• 7am to 1pm on Saturdays
• 24 hours a day from 10pm, Friday 16 October to 4am, Monday 19 October

What to expect

• Dust minimised with watercarts
• Increased truck movements and construction workers in the area
• Increased noise at night during 24/7 works

Access to businesses and residential properties on Creek Street will be maintained at all times.

We’ll make every effort to complete the works on schedule; however, dates and times are subject to change.
