2 September 2024

The Lilydale Line is level crossing free - a year ahead of schedule.

The dangerous and congested level crossing and roundabout in Croydon has been removed by elevating the rail line, with trains now running along the new rail bridge and cars traveling along the new Kent Avenue to Lacey Street road connection.

The new Croydon Station is now open. We will continue working until spring on the transport hub, car parks, and landscaping.
