The Lilydale Line is level crossing free – a year ahead of schedule.

The dangerous and congested level crossing and roundabout at Coolstore Road, Croydon has been removed with trains now running along the new rail bridge and cars traveling along the new Kent Avenue to Lacey Street road connection.

The new Croydon Station is now open and the new bus interchange will open fully on Sunday 10 November 2024. Works will continue on car parks, landscaping and drainage and road works across the precinct.

Works will take a short break over the holiday period from Friday 20 December 2024 until Tuesday 14 January 2025.
