The Lilydale Line is level crossing free – a year ahead of schedule.

The dangerous and congested level crossing and roundabout at Coolstore Road, Croydon has been removed with trains running along the new rail bridge and cars traveling along the new Kent Avenue to Lacey Street road connection.

Some finishing works including landscaping, removing barriers and portable sheds and reinstating footpaths and roads will continue across the precinct into Autumn 2025.
