20 September 2024

The Lilydale Line is level crossing free - a year ahead of schedule.

The dangerous and congested level crossing and roundabout at Coolstore Road, Croydon has been removed with trains now running along the new rail bridge and cars traveling along the new Kent Avenue to Lacey Street road connection.

The new Croydon Station is now open. We will continue working until spring on the transport hub, car parks, and landscaping.

Upcoming 24/7 works in October

We’ll be working around the clock in and around Croydon Station whilst trains aren’t running on the Lilydale Line from Friday 11 October until Monday 14 October. We’ll be in touch with the community later this month with more information about what to expect.

Buses will replace trains on sections of the Lilydale Line from 8.30pm, Friday 11 October until 3am, Monday 14 October. Plan ahead and check the PTV website before you travel for information on disruptions.
