Upcoming roundabout works

Works are progressing to remove the level crossing at Station Street, Beaconsfield by building a road bridge over the rail line.

In September and October, we will construct a new roundabout at the intersection of Station Street, Beaconsfield Avenue and Goff Street.

As crews work to build the new roundabout, there will be traffic changes will be in place.

Road closure

The intersection of Station Street, Beaconsfield Avenue and Goff Street will be closed from 5pm, Friday 20 September to 7pm, Sunday 6 October. See detour map below.

Bus stop changes

Bus stops located along the following routes will close along Kenilworth Avenue, Soldiers Road and Beaconsfield Avenue from 5pm, Friday 20 September to 11.59pm, Sunday 6 October:

• 836 (Berwick Station to Eden Rise SC)
• 926 (Berwick Station to Fountain Gate SC).

Pedestrian footpath closure

Sections of footpaths around the intersection of Station Street, Beaconsfield Avenue and Goff Street will be closed at times between Friday 20 September to Thursday 26 September.

Detour will be in place, see map below.

Night works

Night works will take place on the following dates:

• From 5pm, Friday 20 September to 7pm, Saturday 21 September
• From 7am to 11.59pm, Thursday 26 September.
