Station Street, Beaconsfield

Consultation ran in October 2022 and March 2023, seeking feedback on what Beaconsfield local’s value about the area, how they move around and design preferences including landscaping, and the look and feel of the new road bridge.

This report summarises what the community, residents and stakeholders told us during consultation. Key themes include:

  • maintaining a village-like atmosphere
  • infrastructure that blends in with the natural surrounds in terms of look and feel
  • landscaping including new native trees, shrubs, flowering, plants and grasses
  • safe and accessible access to the station precinct
  • impacts to local streets

As the project progresses, this feedback will play an important role in shaping the final design of the new road bridge and making sure the area meets the needs of the local community.

Station Street, Officer

In October 2022, we asked Officer locals what value about the area, how they move around and what they want to see as part of the Station Street, Officer Level Crossing Removal Project.

This report details the key themes raised in feedback from the community during the early planning phase, including:

  • better access to Officer Station
  • improved lighting and CCTV
  • better walking and cycling connections

These themes will help identify important issues for the project to consider as the design is developed.
