The below notice refers to the temporary closure of roads from time to time under section 186D(1)(d) of the Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act 2009 to facilitate works on the Ballarat Station Upgrade Project.​

Section 186F

NOTICE OF CLOSURE OF PART OF ROAD TO TRAFFIC

Under section 186D(1)(d) of the Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act 2009 (Act), I, Steve Brown, Program Director, Level Crossing Removal Project, as delegate of the project authority for the Ballarat Station Upgrade Project (Project), has determined that, for the purposes of, or a purpose connected with the Project, the following parts of roads shall be closed to traffic:

  • part of Lydiard Street North, Soldiers Hill, as more particularly shown hatched on the plan;
  • part of Railway Parade, Soldiers Hill, as more particularly shown hatched on the plan; and
  • part of Nolan Street, Soldiers Hill, as more particularly shown hatched on the plan.

The closure of those parts of roads identified on the plan shall commence on 20 January 2025.
