On Wednesday 17 July 2024, the Maidstone Street Level Crossing Removal Project team held an online information session to introduce concept designs for the new road bridge in Maidstone Street in Altona.

The session was held as part of community consultation for the project, with the community asked to provide feedback on the concept designs and invited to make a submission as part of the planning approvals process.

The team gave the following presentation and answered questions from the community members both live during the sessions or before hand via an online submission page.

The team received questions on topics such as pedestrian and cyclist connections, the project boundary and impacts during construction.
