During the April 24/7 construction blitz, there’ll be changes to the way you travel.

• Maddox Road closed: 7am, Friday 10 April until 3am, Saturday 25 April
• Champion Road permanently closes to vehicles at the level crossing: 7pm, Friday 10 April
• Pedestrian access at Champion Road will temporarily close while the bridge is being prepared
• Free shuttle bus starting 7pm, Friday 10 April through to mid April to help pedestrians move around the area.

Newport shuttle bus

A free pedestrian shuttle bus will loop between stops at Maddox Road, Champion Road and the Jubilee Street roundabout, as shown on the map below.

When: 7pm, Friday 10 April to mid April

Times: 5am to midnight, approximately every 15 minutes (subject to traffic conditions)
