Consultation summary

Between Monday 29 April and Sunday 9 June 2024, we asked you to share how you move through the Newport area and to provide feedback to help shape designs.

How we asked for your feedback:

• 2 in-person community information sessions
• 1 community webinar
• 2 face-to-face meetings with key stakeholders
• 284 community surveys completed
• 65 questions received via the ‘Ask Us’ function on the Engage Victoria online consultation hub
• community update delivered to approximately 7,000 residents and businesses in the area
• 109 contact centre interactions
• 2600+ views on Engage Victoria
• 850+ project website views
• 1,350+ subscribers to e-updates
• key stakeholder emails, including emergency services and local schools

Thank you to everyone who completed the survey. Your feedback has helped us better understand the needs of the community. This combined with safety regulations, our technical assessments and engineering requirements have shaped the project designs.
