Upcoming road works

The Werribee Street and Cherry Street level crossings are gone for good, making central Werribee completely level crossing free.

In May, we will work to replace a section of damaged kerb on Geelong Road.

What we're doing

We’ll work near the corner of Geelong Road and Werribee Street North on the eastbound left turn lane to remove and replace a section of kerb.

During this time, we’ll:

• work during the day on Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 May 2024.
• have a small working crew in the area and traffic management in place
• ensure that two-way traffic will be maintained at all times.

What to expect

With 1 lane closed and traffic management in place there may be minor road delays, please allow extra time to travel through the area.

Changes to the way you travel

Geelong Road, near the corner of Werribee Street North

• East-bound left turn lane closed from Monday 13 to Tuesday 14 May, 9.30am to 3.00pm. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times. Left turn into Werribee Street North will be maintained.
