We recently notified residents about 24/7 jet fuel pipeline connection works scheduled at our Albion Station and Sunshine Road sites.
The dates for these works have been confirmed and are scheduled to take place from Monday 9 November to Saturday 14 November.
We’ll also continue site investigations in and along the rail corridor in Sunshine and Albion in December.
What we’re doing
- Cutting, welding and installing pipe valves and fittings
- Establishing and testing the new connection
- Locating underground services and testing ground conditions in and along the rail corridor from Sunshine Station to Gilmour Road, Albion
What to expect
- Work crews, machinery and construction vehicles (including trucks) in the area
- Moderate levels of construction noise at times, as well as dust and vibration
- Lighting in place to safely facilitate overnight works
- A temporary site facility at the western end of Sun Crescent to support ongoing works in the area
We will be in touch with impacted residents ahead of time.
When we’ll work
November
24/7 works are due to take place from 7am, Monday 9 November to 7am, Saturday 14 November in our Albion Station and Sunshine Road sites.
We’ll also work regular hours, Monday to Friday, from 7am to 6pm, and extended weekend hours, from 7am to 5pm, on the following dates:
- Saturday 31 October
- Sunday 1 November
- Saturday 7 November
- Sunday 8 November.
These dates are dependent on a number of external factors, including weather, and are subject to change.
December
Works will take place during regular hours from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and 7am to 1pm, on Saturdays as required.
We’ll be working in the rail corridor from Sunshine Station to Gilmour Road, Albion from 7am to 6pm, Saturday 12 December and Sunday 13 December. Site facilities on Sun Crescent will operate day and night over this weekend.
