An investment of more than $4 billion by the Australian and Victorian governments, the Sunshine Superhub will untangle Melbourne's most complex rail junction outside the CBD. The new superhub will create space for a future rail line to Melbourne Airport and future electrified Melton Line.

As part of early works for the project, we will be in your area undertaking bridge assessment works at Ashley Street. While we do these works, there will be temporary road closures at night.

What we're doing

Ashley Street

• Closed to vehicles between Sunshine Road and Barkly Street nightly from 9pm to 5am, Monday 1 September to Friday 5 September for bridge assessment works.

What to expect

• Traffic management and speed reductions will be in place to provide a safe work environment and direct traffic.
• Short delays to regular travel times.
• Project workers in the area to complete the work.
• Ashley Street pedestrian access will be maintained.
