NOTICE UNDER SECTION 186E(1) AND SECTION 186F(1) OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD TO TRAFFIC AND NOTICE OF DEVIATION OF ROAD TO TRAFFIC

Eastern Freeway/Doncaster Road Interchange, Balwyn North, Victoria 3104

I, Jim Waller, Executive Program Director, North East Link Program (Project), acting in my capacity as delegate of the Secretary to the Department of Transport and Planning under the Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act 2009 (MTPF Act), pursuant to:

• an instrument of delegation under section 104 of the MTPF Act dated 19 September 2025,

hereby notify that pursuant to section 186D(1)(d) of the MTPF Act the following road will be closed to traffic:

• parts of the Eastern Freeway/Doncaster Road interchange (as shown on the plan in the Schedule and marked ‘Closure to Traffic – Doncaster Road Offramp Inbound’) from 22 January 2026 for the purposes of the Project;

and

hereby notify that pursuant to section 186D(1)(b) and 186D(1)(c) of the MTPF Act the following roads will be temporarily deviated over relevant land and temporarily divert traffic onto a temporary roadway or a temporarily deviated road:

• parts of the Eastern Freeway/Doncaster Road interchange (as shown on the plan in the Schedule and marked ‘Temporary Deviation – Doncaster Road Offramp Inbound’) from 22 January 2026 for the purposes of the Project;

These decisions have been exercised solely under sections 186D(1)(b), (c) and (d) of the MTPF Act for the purposes of the Project.

These decisions come into effect on the date after this notice is published on the Big Build website.
