The Suburban Rail Loop East Environmental Management Framework (EMF) provides a transparent and integrated framework to manage environmental effects of the Project during construction and operation.

A key requirement of the EMF is the engagement of an Independent Environmental Auditor (IEA) to monitor environmental outcomes.

Every 6 months, the IEA and SRLA prepare a summary of all the audit reports prepared in that period, including details of any issues, trends in performance and the remedies being implemented.
