What we'll be doing

The West Gate Tunnel Project team will be set up on Frederick Street to complete road repairs on a small section of the road.

To complete these repairs, we will need to close Frederick Street between Stephen Street and Hyde Street between 7am–5pm on Monday 11 to Wednesday 13 September. Work hours are 7am to 5pm.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause residents.

Access to your property will be maintained with the assistance of traffic controllers.

What to expect

Minimal construction noise

• Road repair works may be noisy, at times.
• We will do our best to manage this noise impact.

Construction related vehicle movements

There will be small trucks entering and exiting the street.

Frederick Street will be closed between Stephen Street and Hyde Street between 7am and 5pm

• Residents will have access to the street with the assistance of traffic controllers.
• Driveway access will always be available.
• Frederick Street will be reopened at night.

Parking restrictions along Frederick Street

Street parking will be restricted in some parts of the street.
