Works notification

Between 21st February and 4th of March 2022, the West Gate Tunnel Project team will be carrying out concrete demolition works using high pressure water under the roof at the Inbound Portal on the West Gate Freeway near the Williamstown Road exit (see map for details). These works will be from 6pm to 10pm, Monday – Friday.

Increased noise levels may be noticeable during these works. Impacted residents will be notified ahead of these works. Download the notification to see a map of where works will be carried out.

What to expect during these works

Construction noise during the day and at night. This includes concrete demolition for 10 days from Monday to Friday, 6pm–10pm.

Please note that works are subject to change and may be rescheduled in the event of unexpected impacts to the construction program.
