Dynon Road nightworks

To prepare for the construction of the retaining wall supporting the new walking and cycling bridge, underground utility (services) investigation works will take place on the Dynon Road bridge westbound footpath north of Anderson Street, West Melbourne.

These works will be completed between 7 – 10 December from 7:30pm to 7:00am with lane closures in place along a section of Dynon Road. Pedestrian detours will be in place to allow safe movement through the work area (refer to map in PDF).

What to expect and when

These works have been planned to minimise impacts on the local community, pedestrians and motorists. We don’t expect noise from the work to be disruptive. There will be no impact to access of the bus stop on Spencer Street. We will be monitoring the works to maintain acceptable noise levels over their duration.

Hours of work

These works will be done between the hours of 7:30pm to 7:00am from Tuesday 7 December until Friday 10 December 2021. If the weather is poor, or there are any unexpected events, we may need to reschedule these works.
