Works on Dynon Road Bridge and the new walking and cycling path
Works are progressing around the Dynon Road and Railway Place area beginning mid-October until late December 2022. The crucial work outlined below will facilitate construction of a strengthened and widened Dynon Road Bridge, which will ultimately help ensure a safe path separating vehicles from people traveling along Dynon Road to North Melbourne.
At the same time, in the same area, we’re continuing work on construction of a walking and cycling path.
What to expect and when
From Monday 17 October 2022, the below area will experience scaffolding works, footpath changes, hydro demolition work, crane set ups and the re-building of Dynon Road Bridge. These works are due to occur intermittently during the day and night.
We will be working to reduce noise as much as possible with a range of mitigation measures. We'll provide more information about the work due to take place on Dynon Road Bridge in the coming month.
If the weather is poor, or there are any unexpected events, we may need to reschedule these works.
