We hosted an online community photo competition across November and December in celebration of 50 level crossings gone and counting.
Entrants submitted photographs that featured a level crossing removal project from the past, or present for the chance to win a local trader hamper filled with goodies and a VIP tour of one of our construction sites.
The categories that a user could submit their photo included structure, creative, selfie and open space. We also had a people’s choice award with our social media community voting via likes for their favourite submission across the promotional period.
The finalists were judged by a panel from the Level Crossing Removal Project team, who had the mighty task of going over each submission and choosing what they thought was the best photo from each category.
