From guided walks to coffees and cranes: join us in Mont Albert and Surrey Hills

Back to Newsfeed

We’re working around the clock at Union Road, Surrey Hills and Mont Albert Road, Mont Albert to remove 2 dangerous and congested level crossings and deliver a brand-new Union Station in late May and you're invited to see our site!

In recent weeks, our free events have booked out quickly, with locals keen to see progress and chat to our team along the way.

Secure your spot for 1 of our guided walking tours or coffees and cranes events, happening regularly throughout the big dig.

Been along to 1 or more of our events before? We’d love to welcome you back and share how our site has progressed!

Our piling that forms the new trench walls is now complete, and all 25 concrete beams that will help form the foundation of the station’s 2 concourses are in position. Our station base level was also recently reached.

Join us for a behind the scenes tour of our site, where you can view excavators, bulldozers and piling rigs working hard to dig the 1.3 kilometre trench and build the new Union Station.
