The next generation of construction workers is here!
Earlier this month, the Brunt Road team held a construction day with Birches Early Learning Centre.
Almost 80 kids aged one to 5 took part in construction activities, learning more about the Brunt Road level crossing removal happening nearby.
Dressed in construction gear, kids enjoyed colouring stations, puzzles, interactive construction activities and even got to sit in a real-life digger.
It was also an opportunity for teachers, parents and kids to learn more about the Brunt Road level crossing removal and ask the project team questions about the construction of the new road bridge.
Major works are well underway to remove the dangerous and congested level crossing at Brunt Road, Beaconsfield by building a road bridge over the Pakenham Line.
The level crossing will be gone for good and road bridge open by 2025.
