Members of the Caulfield to Dandenong Community Open Space Expert Panel recently participated in a question and answer panel session, taking questions from the community about the 22.5 hectares of new public open space created by elevating 3 sections of rail.
The panel session was live streamed to the Level Crossing Removal Project's Facebook page on 3 April 2017 and was viewed over 2500 times.
The expert panel, led by Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne Director and Chief Executive Chief Professor Tim Entwisle, has been providing recommendations to the project team.
'This kind of unique opportunity doesn't happen often and we need to get it right,' Professor Entwisle said.
Locals continue to be encouraged to have their say in how these new spaces will be used and to submit their creative solutions on how we can transform the rail corridor into an attractive and safe environment for Melburnians to enjoy, via Your Level Crossings.
